Welcome to Music Circuit. We are a lean team of 2 guys (Viliam and Berk) and our goal is to provide news about the tech, reviews and guides. Our coverage is split into six core focus areas:
-
Tech News: Here, we aim for factual updates on software updates, DSP advancements.
-
Plugin Reviews: These are the deep-dive bench tests evaluating UI layout, performance and use in the real world so you know if the plugins are worth your money or not.
-
Guides & Comparison Hubs: Transparent head-to-head analysis to help you avoid impulse purchases like Product A vs Product B (or brand comparisons).
-
Tutorials: We also think covering tutorials and guides is essential for an audio blog so you will find those as well.
In addition, our goal is also to start reviewing hardware equipment at some point to provide buying guides as well as single product reviews.
Review Process & Editorial Policy
We never accept payment, sponsored placements, or corporate compensation to review or alter our opinions on a piece of gear. If a tool has a high CPU hit, a clunky interface, or doesn’t justify its price tag, we will mention that. Also, every product reviewed on our site is properly tested before we type a word. Our editors evaluate gear using a standardized data block to ensure technical accountability:
-
Host Environments: Tested across multiple industry-standard DAWs (including Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, and FL Studio).
-
Platform Stability: Also, we run natively on both modern macOS silicon and optimized Windows 11 environments.
Content Maintenance & Freshness
We will try our best to review and manually update our content at least once every 12 months.
Affiliate & Advertising Disclosure
To fund our operations and keeping our content free, we provide outbound links to trusted retailers within our gear reviews and guides. If you click these links and make a purchase, Music Circuit may receive a small commission (affiliate fee) from the retailer at no extra cost to you. These commercial insights never influence our editorial selections or final ratings; we only recommend gear that we would use ourselves.
